How to Use Prestone AS170Y

1. Allow Engine to Cool: Ensure the vehicle engine is completely off and cold before opening the cooling system.

2. Add to System: Shake the bottle thoroughly and pour the entire contents of Prestone AS170Y directly into the radiator or coolant expansion tank.

3. Top Off: Ensure the coolant/water level is filled to the manufacturer’s recommended level.

4. Circulate: Replace the radiator cap securely, start the engine, and run with the heater on high for 10–15 minutes to circulate the additive throughout the entire cooling loop.
