FLEXIBLE GASKET MAKER FOR SEALING GAPS

For use in both vertical and overhead surfaces, Reinzosil RTV Silicone Sealant is a permanently elastic silicone ideal for use on two-dimensional flat surfaces where there is a sealing gap of ≥ 0.006” (0.15 mm), such as gasket intersections and components originally sealed with RTV by the manufacturer.

VERSATILE RTV APPLICATION USES

Reinzosil fast-cure RTV Silicone Sealant is ideal for sealing the following: intake manifolds, valve covers, axles, differential covers, gearboxes, exhaust systems, housings, windshields, transmission pans, and oil pans. Suitable for rough sealing surfaces, rigid torque, and high-vibration applications, as well as bonding and sealing metal, vinyl, rubber, and plastic.

OEM-QUALITY SEALING

Meeting or exceeding original equipment manufacturer (OEM) RTV silicone gasket specifications, Reinzosil RTV can be used universally for sealing across automotive, commercial vehicle, marine, and small engine applications. Acceptable for both domestic and import vehicle makes/models.

OIL AND FLUID RESISTANCE

Reinzosil RTV Silicone Sealant is gas and oil resistant, including mineral oils and synthetic oils, lubricants, fuels, diesel oil, and greases, and is also resistant to hot and cold water, detergents, sunlight, ozone, and sea water.

DURABLE AT HIGH TEMPERATURES

With extreme durability for high-temperature environments, Reinzosil RTV Silicone Sealant is thermally stable from -58°F to 482°F, and briefly up to 608°F (-50°C to 250°C, briefly to 320°C). Reinzosil will not shrink or lose weight in high-heat-temperature environments.

SENSOR SAFE AND NON-CORROSIVE

Reinzosil RTV Silicone Sealant is a low-odor, non-corrosive, and neutral-bonding silicone.

The product does not trigger oxidation in its surroundings which can have negative effects on sensors, electronics, or electrical components. This makes Reinzosil an ideal sealant for many housing components that cover sensitive electronics.

FAST CURE AND EASY TO APPLY

A fast-curing silicone sealant, Reinzosil RTV has a cure time of up to 100 hours, mainly dependent on the relative air humidity (RH) and room temperature.
