The DD Audio BC6.5a is the flagship 6.5-inch 2-way component speaker set from Digital Designs’ B-Series lineup. Engineered for SQ (Sound Quality) enthusiasts, the BC6.5a features precision-machined driver materials, a low-distortion motor assembly, and a bi-ampable passive crossover network designed to deliver detailed highs, rich vocals, and tight mid-bass response.

The B family of components bring a higher level of transparency and fidelity with installation friendly dimensions for OEM upgrade locations. These drive units have been optimized with high end materials and critical design of the electro-acoustic system. The result is a breakthrough in midrange clarity and an extremely smooth and linear frequency response. This True To The Source output allows you to tailor the sound to your specific style.

The design starts with a compact frame and motor design to fit in complex speaker locations. We designed a special cone combination of paper and mica sand coupled to NB Rubber surround, allowing a shallow profile to have both rigidity and damping for critical transparency. The use of Copper Clad Aluminum and Oxygen Free Copper wire reduces moving mass and increases sensitivity, passing through the natural timbre of music. The high end response is detailed, accurate and offers wide dispersion from the 20mm black soft dome tweeter.

The B component speakers bring a realism to your favorite music not possible with compromised OEM speakers. You can have the audiophile sound quality in an affordable and easy to install package.
