1.4 KW starter motor, gets your BMW’s engine started
Starter motors are what get your engine running. In order for an engine to start it must be rotating. The starter motor spins the engine via the flywheel or flex plate while fuel is injected into the engine. Starter motors are very robust and have a long service life but can fail. A failed starter motor will prevent you from being able to start your BMW.
Before ordering a starter for your BMW there are two possible installations. This starter features a 140mm length from flange end to end of body and has threaded bolt holes. Compare to starter that is equipped on your vehicle currently before ordering. For starter without threaded holes see p/n
